Each year, Ghost River Theatre receives donations through Canadian Online Giving Foundation and Benevity, from individuals whose employers offer matching programs and volunteer grants, such as Cenovus, Intact Insurance, RBC, Sunlife, and others. March is grt’s month of giving

Spring has always been a time of rejuvenation and growth—a season to plant seeds for the future. In 2025, Ghost River Theatre embraced this spirit by dedicating March as our inaugural "Month of Giving" campaign, an initiative focused on strengthening the foundation of our small but mighty organization.

We launched this effort knowing that our core supporters—fellow artists, adventurous young adults, and other members of our community—often navigate challenging economic times. These are the individuals who see the value in what we create and are drawn to the unique, adventurous spirit of our work.

In our first year, the response was incredible! Together, we doubled our monthly donors, proving that even small steps can lead to a big impact. Contributions as modest as $5 a month added up to create meaningful stability for Ghost River Theatre, helping us nurture bold, innovative storytelling.

While March marked the official launch of our Month of Giving, the support doesn’t need to stop there. You can help sustain GRT today by becoming a monthly donor through Canada Helps. Monthly donors receive a charitable tax receipt at year-end, and their consistent contributions ensure the continued growth and resilience of our theatre.

We are profoundly grateful for everyone who joined us in 2025 to make this campaign a success. With this strong foundation, we’re excited to continue the "Month of Giving" initiative in 2026, planting more seeds for a thriving future.
